alas i cannot swim

figured i might start using tumblr again as i strangely missed its presence in my life. general update; i am not going to leeds, but probably to london, which is a hell of a lot more scary and exciting. aforementioned lovely guy turned out to be a prick. exam results are on thursday, shitting myself that i’ll have let myself down. got thin and discovered a love for running very fast. got fat when i momentarily forgot that. have been travelling round europe this summer; learnt a lot about friendship, beer, and being happy being alone (not lonely). i have a new laptop, which makes lovely noises when i type.

i haven’t used this much in a while so i thought id update you all on my happenings. the whole thing with A has ended properly, in my head and heart and everything. ive started seeing a very sweet and lovely guy whose a total cutie so it’s nice to have something vaguely normal. i’m pretty much certain im going to go to leeds university, obviously dependent on grades, but it’s good to feel vaguely more organised about the rest of my life. i’m concentrating more on my music too, have made my first ever CD and have been booked to do a few more radio sessions, gigs and festivals (April 1st at Cluny 2 in Newcastle is my next one if anyone fancied it). through january i managed to lose 6lbs, february wasn’t as successful but i maintained the weight which is the main thing i suppose. ive also started yoga which is one of my new favourite things in the world. need ideas for something to do with my hair. its long and purple at the moment. very bored. any ideas?
